Project Description

We were asked by Manchester Clinical Commissioning Group and Age-Friendly Manchester to create a leaflet highlighting community activities for the over 50’s. After some careful consideration we decided the best format for this project is to make leaflet into a keepsake – a pocket-sized diary. The target audience still relies heavily on print and this was the perfect solution. The aim of the book is to tackle social isolation and by making it portable, it encourages people to go out and look for what is going on in their area. It also contains blank notes pages, a directory and a calendar to highlight any future social activities.

The book cover is printed using G.F Smith Colorplan 270gsm Buckram while the inners were printed on G.F Smith Colorplan 100gsm. Rounded corners were added to the finishing.
